After the foundation work, we moved into the framing stage. Walls are up, the structure is growing, and the project is starting to look like the home that was planned on paper.

Our client came to us with plans for his new home and a clear vision for how he wants to complete the project.
Our scope is to build the home to the agreed construction stage, including the main structure and exterior shell, while the homeowner plans to complete much of the interior work himself.

After more than twenty years in design, I've noticed a common misconception: professional interiors are for expensive homes. Actually, it's the opposite. Affordable homes benefit the most from thoughtful design — because every corner counts.
Design isn't about luxury. It's about atmosphere, comfort, and harmony. You don't need high-end materials or exclusive furniture to make a space feel intentional. You need understanding of space, smart solutions, and a clear vision.
Smart Doesn't Mean Expensive
We spend most of our lives at home — it shapes our mood, productivity, and health. You don't need hundreds of thousands of dollars to love where you live. Start with a vision: how do you want your home to feel? Light, cozy, calm, energetic? Everything else follows from there.
The most common mistake I see is buying furniture and decor without a plan. The space loses balance, money gets wasted. Thoughtful planning saves space, time, and money — and makes daily life easier.
A Professional Helps You Save
Many people think hiring a designer is a luxury. It's actually the opposite — a designer helps you avoid impulse purchases, costly mistakes, and chaotic renovations. They see the big picture: where to invest, and where simple solutions are enough. My rule: spend where it shows, save where it doesn't. Invest in what you use every day — a quality sofa, good flooring, proper lighting. Keep everything else simple but tasteful.
Small Space, Big Potential
Even a small home can feel spacious with smart zoning, hidden storage, and good lighting. Sometimes all it takes is rearranging furniture or adding mirrors. This home was more than just a construction project for us — it was a vision that started with a beautiful mountain lot, a challenging slope, and a dream to create a peaceful place for family living.

Design Vision by Inna Lysetska

From the first design idea to the final details, every part of this project was carefully planned: the mountain view, the open living space, the large kitchen, the fireplace, the bedrooms, the decks, and the outdoor areas.

Inna Lysetska developed the design vision for this home and helped create the full concept of how the house should work for real family living. She carefully considered the layout, natural light, mountain views, comfort, daily functionality, and the connection between the interior and exterior spaces.

She also selected and coordinated materials, finishes, colors, lighting, cabinets, flooring, tile, fireplace details, and other interior elements to make the home feel modern, comfortable, practical, and connected to the mountain setting.

Our crew worked hard through every stage of this project — land clearing, grading, foundation, framing, exterior work, interior finishes, decks, and final details.

A project like this takes teamwork, planning, problem-solving, and a lot of hands-on work. Our team helped bring Inna’s design vision to life and turn the original idea into a finished home where a family can live, relax, gather, and enjoy the North Carolina mountains.

Located close to Asheville, about 15 minutes away, this home combines quiet mountain living with convenient access to the city.
