Another year of life. I’ve never been more grateful and sobered by breath in my lungs than this year. If you are uncomfortable with people that are good with holding both the shadows and light of life. People that tell the truth about it. I am probably not for you. If you don’t like someone that prattles on and on about a herbaceous wildflower on the forest floor. If you think empathy is a sin. I am probably not for you. If you think a loud laugh is annoying. I am probably not for you.

I feel it all… but the outcome is some pretty cool art and words and deep love for others.
Life is a gift.

All at once I look out my window and my lilly of the valley patch has doubled in size since the day before. Their fragrant white buds will be appearing soon.
So it is with my wine cap mushrooms beneath our oak tree. I have more than I know what to do with. 🍄‍🟫 (Anyone local want some?)
