Message me if you were planning to come Saturday and I’ll see what I can do!

I’m actually pretty amazed that so many old and beautiful things still exist - just waiting to be shared. Brocantes, flea markets, shows, so many places to find pieces and definitely more than enough for everyone.

I am so grateful to bring a teeny percentage of these antiques to your homes. Finding them, learning about them, sharing them, and repeat. I truly don’t take it for granted.

Europe sourcing day two. What a gift.

I might have blacked out today. It’s been awhile since I’ve been back to my old faves and there’s just nothing like it.

Time with one of my dearest friends, backroads to all the antiques, and we didn’t even have time to eat lunch.

The perfect day. Let’s do it again tomorrow.

Is it old? Is it cool? Is it hard to find? Does it tell a story? Does it make me happy?

I am always looking for and purchasing the pieces that answer yes to these questions. The pieces I keep and the pieces I bring to the shop and sell.

Are there hard and fast rules related to a specific design ‘style’? Not usually. More of a gut feeling. And somehow that never steers me wrong.

What is your criteria? Do you just ‘know when you know’ too??

Truly, you really just never what you’ll find when someone asks you to shop their ‘stuff’.

This time, I’m so grateful they asked.

A couple who lived to be 100+ years old, trips to Europe throughout their life, artists at heart, and just a great eye.
I’m so happy they collected these pieces and beyond thrilled I have the opportunity to pass them along.

It’s the best part of the job. And it never gets old.

Everything you see here is available minus that Paris menu. That one’s getting framed for my wall.

The Pietra Dura - my first signed original. Stunner.
And there’s still more. Another signed original piece, crystal, cool old matchbooks, etc…

See something you want? While I’m working on getting it all in store I’m doing preclaims. Just shoot me a dm.

D-Day Conneaut. A NE Ohio treasure.

Did you know it’s the largest WWII living history reenactment in America?

Thousands of volunteers pull off this impressive feat and do it flawlessly. Demonstrations, period dress, and exhibits with each day culminating in the storming of the beaches of ‘Normandy’.

If you are a history lover, a service family, or just love America, you must go.

I’m so proud of NE Ohio and this tradition and it happens every August. Trust me, don’t miss it.
