🔥✨ What an incredible Open House! FireGirl Boutique and the Athens Art Guild want to send out a massive THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by yesterday. The energy, the conversations, the love for local art — it all made the day unforgettable.

Athens showed up in full creative force, and we’re so grateful for every person who walked through our doors, explored the space, met our artists, and helped us celebrate this new chapter.

I put the final burn on an absolutely stunning hand‑burned pizza paddle, and let me tell you… this one is a showstopper. The grain, the detail, the warmth of the wood — it all came together like magic. If you’ve been waiting for a piece that’s both functional and art you can show off, this is it. FireGirl Boutique and Rags to Rugs, had a wonderful weekend at the Salt Fork Arts 54th Annual Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival . Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, enjoyed our demos, asked questions, and supported our art. And thank you to the amazing committee for taking such good care of us. The weather turned fast. We started packing at 2pm, and within 30 minutes the storm was on us. We were under a tornado warning while packing, and the siren went off as we rushed to get everything loaded. We got most of it in the truck before the downpour hit, but once it did, we were drenched and racing the wind and rain. Prayers for all the vendors, committee members, and folks dealing with flooding tonight. Tomorrow everything gets unloaded and dried out — but tonight I’m thankful we made it home safely.

Come see us at the Salt Fork Art 54th Annual Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival at the beautiful Cambridge City Park! 🎨🌿I’m all set up with my hand‑burned pyrography pieces, live demos, and plenty of FireGirl Boutique flair — but that’s not all…My mom is here too with Rags to Rugs,!
She’s braiding right at the booth and showing off her gorgeous hand‑braided rugs, all made from upcycled fabric. Machine‑washable, cozy, colorful, and absolutely stunning. She even brought a few bonus braided bowls and fun extras!It’s a perfect day to stroll the park, shop handmade, and support local artists. Come hang out with us! ❤️🔥🐙
