Me: Nah, I'll cook. (Seriously! I said this!)๐ธ๐ช
Husband: what are you cooking?๐
Me: General Tao Chicken (Like it's nothing. Who am I?)๐
Tonight's dinner was RESTAURANT QUALITY! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ. Y'all seriously need to start trying this stuff!! I'm telling you!
This is my 3rd attempt at General Tao Chicken btw.
So a few TIPS:
1. Use chicken thighs. Trust me!
2. Prepare the sauce first and let it sit!
- basically just follow instructions as per
package ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ. It ended up being thicker and
less spicy.
3. Add a bit of salt before the corn starch.
4. This does have a bit of a kick to it. I cooked 1.5lbs (recipe calls for 1lb) and took some out before adding the sauce for Eli.
