What do you see?

When I look at this pillow, I see more than fabric and thread.

I see texture.
I see balance.
I see thoughtful details.
I see how a simple design can become something special through careful craftsmanship.

This is one of my original pillow designs that I call Fabric Origami. I love how a few carefully placed folds and stitched details can transform a simple piece of fabric into something unexpected.

Sometimes the most beautiful projects aren’t the loudest ones. They’re the pieces that reveal themselves a little more each time you look.

Let’s face it not every day in a sewing work room is productive. Can you relate with that?
Here’s a little inspiration for what I do when my day doesn’t go as planned.
How do you handle mistakes in your work room and are you able to give yourself some grace when you’ve made a mistake?
Any teachers out there have you ever made mistakes and what can you share with how you handle your mistakes?
