This was such a fun project to watch come together! 🏡✨

And it definitely wasn’t an overnight transformation. Over the course of about six months, a lot of planning, measuring, coordinating, and problem-solving went into getting every detail right.

My client worked with his contractor to demo walls, remove the original built-in corner cabinets, and prepare for refinished flooring. Along the way, we worked closely together on dimensions so his contractor could frame everything correctly and give both the range and refrigerator a true built-in look.

Then came the new layout, cabinetry, and one of my favorite additions — the island. 🙌

Projects like this are a great reminder that kitchen design is about so much more than choosing cabinets. It’s thinking ahead about walls, appliances, clearances, measurements, construction, and how all those pieces need to work together **before installation day ever arrives**.

Six months of planning and coordination…and now we get to watch the vision become a reality.

This is the part I love — seeing a completely new space emerge from a blank canvas. ❤️
