A wonderful evening celebrating 50 years of Atlanta Design Group at ADG Oktoberfest! 🥂

It was such a pleasure to experience their newly transformed Norcross showroom, spend time with clients, and catch up with so many of the talented designers, collaborators and trade partners we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside over the years.

Strong relationships with trusted partners are such an important part of what we do at Laurel Alexander Interiors, and evenings like this are a great reminder of how fortunate we are to be part of this design community.

Congratulations to the entire Atlanta Design Group team on 50 years! We loved celebrating with you.

Beautiful spaces. Thoughtful details. One seamless vision.

Behind every beautifully finished vacation rental is a tremendous amount of planning, coordination, and attention to detail.

At Chateau Nemours in Port St. Joe, Florida, our role extended far beyond selecting furnishings. From developing the design and sourcing products to coordinating deliveries, installation, and those all-important finishing touches, we brought the entire property together through our Full Turn-Key Concierge services.

For vacation rental owners, that means having an experienced design partner managing the many moving pieces—bringing your vision to life with the expertise and peace of mind that come from knowing the details are being handled.

A special thank-you to our valued referral partner, Renting The Coast | Vacation Rentals, for connecting us with the wonderful owners of this property. We always appreciate the opportunity to work with professionals who share our commitment to exceptional guest experiences!

I’m so honored to be included in Modern Luxury’s Dynamic Women 2026!

This feature shares something that has shaped both the way I design and the way I lead: I’ve never believed leadership has to be loud. For me, it’s about listening well, communicating clearly, and staying focused on the best outcome for everyone involved.

It also feels especially meaningful to reflect on the path that brought me here. I came to interior design later in life, and I now see that experience as one of my greatest strengths. Reinvention, perspective, and purpose have all played a role in building Laurel Alexander Interiors into what it is today.

Thank you to Modern Luxury for the thoughtful spotlight. I’m grateful to be included alongside so many accomplished women, and even more grateful for the clients who continue to trust me with their homes and their stories!

A home in the woods should feel connected to its surroundings, not separate from them.

For this Dawsonville project, we leaned into the natural setting with warm wood tones, earthy greens and plenty of texture throughout the home. The forest green cabinetry gives the kitchen a strong focal point, while the stone fireplace, botanical wallpaper and natural finishes carry that sense of place from room to room.

We also kept the furnishings comfortable and unfussy, letting the oversized windows and wooded views do a lot of the work. The result is a home that feels relaxed, grounded and thoughtfully designed for its setting.

A Florida beach house in black and gold? Absolutely.

For this recent project at Chateau Nemours in Port St Joe, FL, our clients came to us with a color direction that stepped outside the typical coastal palette. We embraced it, layering contrast, texture, and natural materials to create a home that feels contemporary and sophisticated, while still very much at home near the water.

One of our favorite details is the acoustical slat wall in the office. We originally designed it to add both visual interest and sound control, but the owners loved the finished look so much that they carried the treatment into two more spaces.

A good reminder that coastal design doesn’t have to follow a formula. Sometimes the most interesting spaces are the ones that take a different direction.

WindMark Beach called for a unique design direction.

The home started as an all-white new construction, and the clients gave us one clear request: no more white.

So we brought in rich navy and blue tones, warm browns, touches of red, medium-tone woods and plenty of texture to give the home more depth and personality. There’s a subtle nautical influence throughout, but nothing feels overly themed or expected.

Near the entrance, we were also able to incorporate a meaningful nod to the owners’ military backgrounds.

Those personal details matter. Even when a home is designed with guests in mind, it should still feel connected to the people who own it.
