Karen is unique in that she was a pioneer in Green and sustainable interiors and began doing so many years before this became a trend. Karen has appeared as the principal designer for the first green remodel on HGTV'S New Spaces TV series and as a guest of Lou Manfredini on his "Greenpiece" TV segment as a spokesperson regarding Green/Sustainable interiors. In addition, New Leaf has been featured in publications such as Chicago Home Magazine,The Chicago Tribune,Sustainable Home Magazine and Conscious Choice Magazine.
