One of the greatest gifts of travel is the people you meet along the way.
While in Bhutan, we had the extraordinary opportunity to visit artist in her studio and spend an afternoon learning about her work, process, and inspiration. It was especially meaningful to connect with another creative woman whose passion and artistry shine through in everything she creates.
Zimbiri’s tiger paintings are powerful, soulful, and deeply rooted in the spirit of Bhutan. In many cultures, the tiger is a symbol of luck, strength, and prosperity, making her work all the more meaningful to bring into a home. Seeing her paintings firsthand gave us an even greater appreciation for the talent and craftsmanship behind each piece. We were honored to bring one of her works home, where it now hangs beautifully in our client’s home.
Travel has always been an important part of my creative process, not only for the places I visit, but for the artisans and makers I have the privilege of meeting around the world. These connections inspire me endlessly and allow me to bring meaningful, collected pieces home to our clients.
Zimbiri is currently exhibiting in Dubai, and I have no doubt her remarkable talent will continue to reach audiences around the world. I am so excited to follow her journey and support her work in future projects.
