hings. It feels great to make something out of virtually nothing. It still amazes me that I can turn ordinary fabric and some thread into something I can actually use and be proud of! Sewing is challenging in countless ways. As I mentioned, it feels great to start with a piece of fabric or scraps and see what I can turn it into; it’s fun to push myself and go beyond what I think I can do. Sewing/crafting is a completely gratifying process for me. The key for me is creating. All the possibilities in a piece of fabric or a few buttons are so exciting. I love taking a few supplies and turning it into something beautiful, practical and usable. The process of taking an idea to design, then execution and finally making a usable item is incredibly satisfying– an item to use in every day life. I also love that there is always something new to learn in the pursuit of sewing, that I will continue to learn new skills over time. I find that I most enjoy creating tote bags/purses, accessories, pillows, pillowcases, blankets, wall hanging organizers.... well, the list is quite large and these are just a few of the many many things I enjoy sewing. I can make custom items, too. Want a bag with your name embroidered on it? I can do that!
