Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits – Fluffy, tender biscuits with a light, flaky texture, perfect for breakfast or any meal.

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into cubes
¾ cup buttermilk (more if needed)

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Add the cold butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized pieces of butter.
Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the buttermilk. Stir gently with a spoon until the dough just comes together. If the dough seems too dry, add a bit more buttermilk, one tablespoon at a time.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently 5-6 times until it holds together. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out biscuits, pressing straight down without twisting.
Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, touching each other for soft sides or spaced apart for crisp edges.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
Serve warm with butter or jam.

Dutch Oven Goulash Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions:
Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper (if using) to the beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in the paprika, oregano, and basil, cooking for another minute.

Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper to the Dutch oven. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni, stirring to combine. Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.

Once the pasta is cooked, you can stir in shredded cheddar cheese if desired, allowing it to melt into the goulash.

Serve hot and enjoy!

Strawberry Rolls Sweet Rolls – Soft, fluffy rolls filled with sweet strawberry filling and topped with a glaze, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients:
For the dough:
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 large egg

For the strawberry filling:
1 ½ cups fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
½ cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp lemon juice

For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk with 1 tbsp of sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, until it becomes frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture, melted butter, salt, vanilla extract, remaining sugar, and egg. Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
While the dough is rising, make the strawberry filling by combining the chopped strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens, then set aside to cool.
Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle about ½ inch thick. Spread the strawberry filling evenly over the dough. Roll it up tightly, then slice it into 12 equal pieces.
Place the rolls in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
While the rolls bake, make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
