Great design takes a great team.

Last week, we opened the doors of our studio for an evening of conversation, connection and collaboration alongside Fairbank Construction and Studio Kamppari.

One of the biggest challenges homeowners face when planning a renovation isn't deciding what they want their home it look like. It's knowing where to begin, who to trust, and how to bring all the right people together.

That's why relationships like these matter.

At Harmony House, we believe thoughful design and skilled construction belong in the same conversation from the very beginning. When designers, builders, and trusted industry professionals work together, the entire experience becomes more cohesive for the people we serve.

Thank you to Fairbank Construction and Fairbank Special Services, Sini Kamppari and everyone who joined us. We loved welcoming you to our studio.

Considering a renovation or new project? We'd love to be part of the conversation.

A special thanks to Socially Anna Anna Bernhard Carson for capturing our evening on camera.

A new home, thoughtfully layered to feel collected, personal and unmistakably theirs. 🤎

For this installation, we brought in new furnishings for the living and dining rooms, new artwork, bedding, pillows and accessories—then layered them with beloved art, meaningful objects and furnishings from our clients’ previous home.

The result is a fresh chapter that still carries the warmth and history of the home they loved before.

The sweetest message arrived afterward:

“I sat up until 12:30 just staring into the room and drinking in the beauty.”

That is always the goal: not simply a beautiful space, but a home that feels deeply connected to the people who live there.

Swipe through for a look inside this very special install.

A little layer of life. 🌿✨

Greenery, texture, and collected details are what make a space feel finished. Loving how this new plant adds just the right bit of softness to the mix.

Thanks to for the perfect addition. 🪴🤍

Accessible Design, Reimagined

This space began as a garage, became a playroom, and has now been transformed into something deeply meaningful: a thoughtfully designed wheelchair-accessible living suite on the ground floor of our clients’ home.

For the past two years, our client has not been able to live in their home because the second-story bedrooms were no longer accessible. This renovation brings them home.

Every inch of this room was designed with both function and feeling in mind. We raised the floor by 12" to create a flush transition with the rest of the home, allowing for seamless movement throughout the space. The modular wall creates separation between the bedroom and living areas while housing a double-sided fireplace, which brings physical warmth, visual softness, and a calming rhythm to the suite.

The rotating television can be viewed from the living room, the bedroom, and yes, even the bathroom. Accessibility, but make it clever.

The materials tell the rest of the story. Our clients’ love of nature comes through in the warm wood tones, mossy greens, soft plaids, layered textures, and landscape-inspired details throughout. The FLOR rugs were selected not just for beauty, but because their full rigid rubber backing performs like a hard surface under wheelchair wheels without catching or bunching.

The green bench serves as extra seating, a grounding design element, and a place for physical therapy to take place.

In the bathroom, the accessible vanity allows a wheelchair to pull directly underneath, with a pivoting mirror designed to be viewable at multiple heights. The roll-in shower includes a fold-down wood seat, double shower wands, and strategically placed grab bars that coordinate with the antique bronze finishes so they blend into the design instead of announcing themselves.

Accessible design does not have to feel clinical. It can feel warm, layered, personal, beautiful, and deeply connected to the way someone wants to live.

This renovation is about more than a room.

It is about homecoming.

✨ Wait for it… ✨

What looks like a beautiful walnut feature wall is hiding a pretty incredible surprise.

With a simple spin, the TV rotates between the living room and bedroom, creating the ultimate flexible space. 😍

Smart. Functional. Unexpected.

And yes, everyone who sees it wants to spin it at least once. 😉

A little behind-the-scenes moment from Lunamira ✨🪢

One of our favorite parts of the design process is watching a space come alive with the people and stories that will fill it.

Here, Brenda, owner of Lunamira, teaches Jenni the beautiful art of Furoshiki wrapping and how a simple square of fabric can transform into a functional, reusable purse. 🌿

Part tradition, part artistry, part everyday magic.

Lunamira, now open in The Cove on Bainbridge Island, is filled with thoughtful details like these: clean beauty, incredible scents, colorful gifts, and a curated collection of Japanese Furoshiki scarves that turn wrapping into an experience all its own.

Watching this exchange felt like the perfect reflection of the shop itself:
intentional, creative, welcoming, and full of joy. 💛

Congratulations Brenda on bringing such a vibrant new energy to Winslow.

Lunamira has quietly opened its doors in The Cove on Winslow, and stepping inside feels a little like opening a jewelry box filled with color, fragrance, texture, and tiny moments of delight. 🌈✨

From the incredible candle collection greeting you at the front door, to the clean beauty selections, playful fragrances, gifts, towels, hats, and the stunning wall of Japanese Furoshiki scarves… every corner feels curated with joy. The shop is layered with personality in the best way possible. Bold, artistic, fresh, and completely inviting.

We loved helping bring this vibrant little world to life for the Bainbridge Island community. Lunamira is more than a store. It’s an experience. A colorful exhale. A place to wander, discover, and leave inspired.

More photos coming soon, but here’s a sneak peek at some of the beautiful details packed into this amazing new shop. 💫 Stop in and show your support, and meet the owners, mom-daughter dream team, Brenda and Miranda!

Stay tuned for details of their official grand opening event! 🎈

Color therapy, meet retail therapy. 🛍️

Lunamira is beginning to come alive at The Cove on Winslow, and this little corner already feels like stepping into a joyful cinematic frame. Saturated color. Playful pattern. A glow that instantly lifts your mood the second you walk in.

Designed as a modern clean beauty destination, Lunamira will be filled with thoughtfully curated skincare, beauty, gifts, and all the beautiful little rituals that help us slow down and care for ourselves a bit more intentionally.

One of our favorite details? The upcoming Furoshiki wrapping station featuring gorgeous Japanese wrapping scarves, transforming gift wrapping into something meaningful, sustainable, and artful. 🎁

This project has been such a fun departure into boldness for us. A little retro. A little Tokyo. A little cosmic spa lounge tucked into Bainbridge Island. And we cannot wait to show you more as the finishing layers go in.

Opening soon. ✨
