☀ Sunday Morning in the Word — Loving God With All That We Are
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. — Mark 12:30 (ESV)
Jesus doesn’t describe a partial love or a compartmentalized faith. He calls for a love that reaches every part of who we are—heart, soul, mind, and strength. This is not a feeling that comes and goes, but a settled devotion that shapes how we think, live, and respond to God.
To love God with our heart is to give Him our affections. To love Him with our soul is to belong to Him fully. To love Him with our mind is to submit our thoughts to His truth. And to love Him with our strength is to serve Him with our lives, not holding anything back.
This kind of love grows over time. It is formed through obedience, repentance, and daily dependence on Him. As we walk with Christ, God reshapes our priorities and draws our whole being into alignment with His will.
