A: We are offering consultations NOW for projects with a desired START date of February 2024.

A: We do not encourage you to wait to book a consultation around or during your desired start date. Why? We typically book projects 3-4 months in advance.

A little color to brighten our feed. We were so in love with this wallpaper and it made a great statement piece in our clients entryway. If you’re scared of color or pattern, put it in a space that’s closed off from everything and it makes it easier to swallow. Hallways and powder bathrooms are great places to start!

Interrupting your Saturday to bring you some archived shots of our Baltimore Historic home. There’s something about homes with character that makes you not want to change anything! We updated the mantle to modern times but we are glad we listened to our clients and didn’t put any curtains on these beautiful bay windows! The character in this home is what makes it so beautiful! Pro Tip: slabs of marble and porcelain are expensive, trust me I would know.. and not everyone has that baked into their budgets…. What you can do is pick a tile that has enough movement in the pattern and install them with no gaps. Then you can add a grout that matches and get a very seamless, slab looking install like we did here! It turned out beautifully! Also, please stop making your tv’s bigger than your fireplace inserts… it’s tacky 🙃😂. There’s one way where it makes sense to do so and I’ll show you a version in a future project, butaside that… stop it 😂😘.

The question i get sometimes is “what do you do when the client doesn’t want a fireplace?” . My answer is always a feature wall! And that can look different for every client. For the living area to be functional, most homes have a focal wall where they place their tv’s, and what I aim to do is to make it look aesthetically pleasing but also functional! Here in our clients home, we did custom built-ins with lighting and also added bottom storage to hide all the unsightly things. I normally add a pop of tile/ marble or wallpaper, something that brings in texture and movement to the space! How do you have your tv area set up? Comment below!

A little sneak peak into one of my favorite rooms in this residence! Fun fact: when we first presented it, the husband did not love it but the wife and I stood our ground and kept the design. I am so glad I didn’t change a thing because this room became easily one of the top favorites for the couple once it started coming to life! So far, I have learned to stand behind the designs i present and trust my eye even if the client is hesitant. It always turns out to be their favorite room. So if you ever get to work with me, just know i tend to put my foot down and you’ll always be happier in the end 😂😂. Just trust me and the process… that’s all i ask. 🙏🏿🤍
