Look for these markings:

Check jewelry for stamps such as:

1. Let the room breathe
Clear decor, plants, and furniture away from doors and windows. Buyers need to move freely and have access to windows.

If you’re not actually using it—remove it. Guest room TV cords? Gone.

Don’t wait until packing week. One drawer, one cabinet at a time—only take what you use and love.

2. Set up a “sell / donate / toss” system
Keep the momentum going and avoid overwhelming piles.

3. Organize by category, not room
Group like items together (tools, batteries, gift wrap, etc.) so unpacking actually makes sense.

4. Plan your next space
