A laundry room that makes the never-ending laundry feel a little less terrible. We kept this one simple and hardworking, but gave it plenty of character with the arched window, black appliances, full-height cabinetry and an old table right in the middle of it all. Proof that even the most practical rooms deserve some thought.

A pantry that works hard but still gets to be beautiful. Floor to ceiling cabinetry, open shelving for everything you actually reach for, a library ladder for everything you don’t, and a little wallpaper and display space because even the pantry deserves some personality.

The original 1950 blueprints for the home, complete with handwritten notes. The kind of artwork you could never go out and buy.

For my Bartlesville friends, you’ve known this building as the Bargain Box over the years. Honestly, that’s the only thing I ever remember it being. Built in 1930, I’m not sure what all has lived within these walls over the last almost 100 years, but now it’s mine. And this is already one of my favorite spaces in it. There’s just something really special about getting to be a small part of this building’s story.
