So I didn't get to the gnomes yet, as Mom had other plans....a week in the hospital and layed up after some foot surgery, so I've not spent as much time in the craft room. I did, however, have the chance to create a nice little basket set. I'm going to add some little leather handles, but I love how they look and the possibilities are endless. Tell me what ya think! They are about 4-6" wide, 2-4" deep and and soft and flexible. Maybe I should try a square basket????

Happy Spring and almost Summer and welcome to my new followers!!! I haven't posted much as outside gardens and flowers have consumed alot of my time. I unfortunately had some unwelcomed rummy issues that put me inside for a few days.....and what does a crafter do when that happens?.....craft! I decided to crochet a few things since it allowed me to stay pretty stationary.... Anyway thought I would have a go at some sunflowers....a coaster and a little sunflower Un a jug decor did the trick! Let me know what you think. Getting the urge to do a Gnome or two! I owe somebody a 4th of July gnome!!!!

So the craft fair went well. Hopefully it will be busier next year. So what does a crafter do when she has some down time.....craft of course!!!! I've had so many stolen moments of crafting here and there this last year with all the chaos....it's been really nice to have time to focus on my crafting. Of course I have to push my crochet skills.....after 40 some years of trying to learn, I love trying all these new things now! And I absolutely have some gnomes on the list too....I have the privilege of going to Disney with the CNE Marching Rockets in a few weeks and lots of gardening to catch up on this summer.....but I look forward to losts of crafting for a few craft shows this fall!!! Thank you to all who follow and welcome to those new followers. I will post a follow up pic of what ends up in the pot, pictured below!!!!!
