Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unexpected places—a beautiful piece of fabric, an old quilt, a grandmother’s sewing basket, or simply seeing what someone else has created.

Today, I’m sharing a little inspiration from the Stitchery to remind you that you don’t have to know exactly what you’re making before you begin.

Pick up some fabric. Pull out those threads. Try something new.

And remember: the joy is often found in the creating, not just in the finished piece.

For me, quilting has never been just about making a quilt.

Some of my earliest memories are connected to quilting with my grandmother and sitting with women who were willing to share their time, their knowledge and their stories.

There is something special about sitting around a table with fabric, thread and a sewing machine and simply creating together.

That is what I hope Anchored Vessel Stitchery becomes—a place where we can learn, create, share stories and enjoy the process, one stitch at a time.

HELP ME PLAN FUTURE CLASSES & EVENTS!

Over the last few weeks of being open at the studio, I've heard from several people that there is a real need for beginner sewing classes and learning how to use your own sewing machine! And I LOVE that! ❤️

My goal at Anchored Vessel Stitchery is to create a welcoming space where you can learn something new, explore your creativity, meet other makers, and most importantly, have FUN!

So, I'd love your input! What classes, workshops, or events would YOU like to see offered in the studio?
