Throwback Thursday….is that still a thing?! This is Hiromi. She was so interesting, especially her hardware. In fact I had those re-plated and repurposed on Milly. You can probably find Milly in my feed. Cute little chinoiserie bamboo dresser in Kelly green. But Hiromi was a risk in red. Red is a very risky color so I don’t usually offer red items refinished. I think we’ve only done 3 - ever. This was done in Heritage Red (Benjamin Moore color).

I am really in love with the color our customer chose. Black Forest Green from Ben Moore is really stunning. We are doing The Thurmans which I posted in stories yesterday, in Essex Green. In fact the Thurmans and Thelma were from the same furniture collection. They are similar greens, but the Black Forest definitely leans much darker.

Sutton is a great example of our matte lacquer finish. We can do matte, satin or high gloss, all in the same durable lacquer finish.

This lovely lady is Maria. She was just delivered to her new owner yesterday. I got the sweetest voicemail from our customer! Then today, she purchased another piece for us to customize. So Nann will be joining Maria in the coming months.⁠
