- Mediterranean Ground Beef Flatbread with Garlic Hot Honey Feta Cream
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 flatbreads or pita breads
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sautƩ for 3-4 minutes until softened.
2. Add the garlic, ground beef, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
3. While the beef is cooking, mix the honey and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Set aside.
4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet.
5. Once the beef is ready, evenly distribute it over the flatbreads.
6. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the beef mixture.
7. Drizzle the garlic hot honey over the top of each flatbread.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the flatbreads are crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
9. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
