Welcoming Autumn Winds Spell

Much like the timeless message in the song "Turn! Turn! Turn!" by Pete Seeger, which reminds us that there is a season for everything, this spell recognizes the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, welcoming the inevitable shift from warmth to the chill of winter. Do it when you notice the first autumn leaves fall.

1. Collect acorns, a white candle, a small bowl of water, and dried autumn leaves or flowers.

2. Set the candle in the center, surrounded by the acorns and dried leaves. Place the bowl of water near the candle.

3. Light the candle, reflecting on the end of warm weather and the approach of winter. Visualize the winds bringing in the cold.

4. Hold the acorns and chant:

"Acorns fall, winter calls,
The warm days end, cold befalls.
Winds grow strong, snow will reign,
Winter comes, I welcome the change."

Drop the acorns into the bowl of water.

5. Blow out the candle, scatter the dried leaves outdoors, and leave the bowl of water in a natural spot as an offering to the earth.

First of the Month Cinnamon Ritual: Sprinkling Cinnamon at Your Front Door

One of the most popular and widely practiced cinnamon rituals for attracting abundance is the act of sprinkling cinnamon powder at the front door of your house. This ritual symbolizes the purification and blessing of the main entrance, which serves as a portal for different energies to enter your home. By infusing this space with positive energy, you open the door to receiving abundance and prosperity.

Let’s explore how to perform this ritual step by step:

On the first day of every month, take some cinnamon powder in the palm of your right hand and stand at the front door of your house.
Here’s what to say when blowing cinnamon.
Be sure to recite the following affirmation with faith:
“When this cinnamon blows, prosperity here will enter. When this cinnamon blows, abundance will come to stay. When this cinnamon blows, abundance here will live!”
Blow the cinnamon from the outside to the inside of your house, visualizing abundance and success flowing into your home alongside the powder.
Leave the cinnamon powder on the floor for at least 24 hours, until the 1st of the month is over, and then clean it up.

Remember, during the ritual and the days that follow, it’s crucial to maintain a positive mindset and thoughts. Your thoughts and emotions are made up of energy, and by keeping your vibration high with positive thoughts, you enhance the potency of the ritual.
