I made this coffee table for my daughter’s house warming gift for college. She loves the beach. We got a bunch of seashells in Destin this summer and made this with Black Walnut and metallic blue ocean epoxy.

Just finished up this Black Walnut bookmatched table. It is close to 4ftx8ft. For those of you who don’t know what a bookmatched table is, it’s when after being milled, if you turn the slab open like a book, the two slabs mirror each other. This was my first attempt joining two slabs together. A little bit of epoxy in the middle to fill a void. Turned out great.

First official table build out of the new shop! It’s meticulous process for these tables but always gorgeous when it’s done. And it looks even more beautiful in its new home at KSmith Building Co. !
This one is made from monkey pod wood with an ocean blue epoxy resin. Awesome job Jacob Brown 👏🏼 Let us know if you need a table from J&J Woodworks in your home! ❤️

I am always surprised yet thankful when someone trusts me to build for them. It’s a side hobby, but a passion for me.
