🌸 A Gentle and Beautiful Farewell

Soft pink roses, delicate gerbera daisies, and cheerful white blooms come together in this pastel altar arrangement I created for a funeral service at Hiller Highlands in Oakland.

I wanted the flowers to feel peaceful and uplifting, with a natural, airy composition that expresses love, remembrance, and warmth.

Funeral flowers don’t always need to be formal or somber. Sometimes, gentle colors and a garden-inspired design can offer a beautiful way to celebrate a life and bring comfort to those saying goodbye. 🤍

It is always a privilege to create something meaningful for a family’s final farewell.

A little movement, a little drama, and a touch of whimsy! 🌿🧡

For this Contemporary Design of the Day, I wanted to highlight the beautiful, curvy lines of snowberry branches. Their graceful twists and delicate pink-and-white berries bring so much personality and movement to the arrangement.

Paired with vibrant orange dahlias, elegant white calla lilies, and soft pink spray roses, the result is a playful balance of color, texture, and sculptural form.

And here’s a fun local fact: Did you know that wild snowberries grow right here in the Oakland hills? 🌿

A little floral pick-me-up 🌿🌺🧡

This Contemporary Design of the Day was created to bring some cheer, with bright pops of orange and red, playful textures, and unexpected botanical details. I especially love how the sculptural anthurium, pumpkin tree, and delicate branches give it so much personality.

Sometimes flowers don’t need an occasion—they can simply make someone’s day a little brighter. ❤️

A birthday arrangement with a little drama. 🌸

I designed this large birthday arrangement over the weekend in vibrant shades of pink, layering roses and seasonal blooms with airy, textural greenery.

The focal point is the beautiful protea - bold, sculptural, and impossible to overlook. I cut some Grevillea branches from my garden and tucked them into the design to give it a natural, distinctly Californian feel.

A special arrangement for a special birthday. 💕

A Gentle Tribute 🌸

A sweet pastel standing spray created in loving memory of a beloved educator, leader, and mentor.

The customer chose a soft pastel color palette, so I designed this piece with delicate shades of blush pink and soft yellow, complemented by creamy whites and lush greenery. Soft roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, and delicate chamomile as filler flowers come together in an airy, garden-inspired design.

I wanted the arrangement to feel gentle and uplifting—something that would honor a person whose influence, guidance, and kindness touched so many lives.

A beautiful farewell for someone who was clearly deeply loved, respected, and remembered. 🤍🌿
