I just want to wish everyone a happy Saturday and happy crafting. What do you create? I have two things I make /create: I make rosaries for very special people and I crochet. My mom taught me to crochet when I was 8 years old and then a friend of mine taught me how to read a pattern, because that’s a language all it’s own, and here I am.

So what do you guys create?

Getting there… if only my center stitches hadn’t been so tight 🙈🙈🙈
I have added rounds and because those center stitches are so tight I am adding arm-holes I think the mods will be lovely. 🥰 Tell me what you guys think!

So I've had a lot of people ask me what I have been working on lately... as a fiber artist, I always have something going. These are projects I have finished in 2026, but I have been terrible about posting pictures.

Mom (Kathy Jenkins) has a new series she wants to show off!! We’re calling it USA 250! 🇺🇸🎇 These are made from the charms I showed you guys last week. We have markers for each military branch, police, fire, and first responders. They are made with red, white and blue crystals.
The one shown here is a large marker, about an inch and half long, but we can make them smaller, would you guys like to see some smaller ones?

So in case anyone wants to see what mom (Kathy Jenkins) is working on lately, this has been her latest project. As you can see there are seals for each of the branches of the military (ok, I’m sorry United States Space Force and U.S. Coast Guard, yours are harder to find). There are even a few for first responders, and fireman! All of these will be turned into one of kind crochet (or knitting) stitch markers! I’ll add a new photo to show how I have used mine, of course, Mom has made me some lovely markers over the years.

Do you know anyone who would like one of these? They have a variety of uses, I’ll make a short video to demonstrate.
