After 25 years as a Dental Hygienist I found myself unemployed, a victim of a struggling economy. But it didn't take long to see that God was giving me an opportunity to refocus on the things that I love-my family (a wonderful husband and 2 teenage boys), talking with peo

ple and anything VINTAGE and hand painted

Without a clue as to what I was doing, I set up shop at one of my favorite vintage stores and learned a lot from some wonderful people. I've spent several years only selling at antique shows and flea markets as the demands of being a Boy Scout leader and Band mom took priority. I am a self-proclaimed "auction junkie" and treasure hunter. I search yard sales, auctions and friends basements for tired, dirty old furniture and other gems, refurbish them and find them new homes. I also have done some work for friends who couldn't part with a treasured family piece of furniture. And lately I've expanded my business to include repurposing items that would otherwise end up discarded. I particularly like turning light fixtures into birdhouses and old picture frames and discarded wood into inspirational signs. My treasures can now be found at Berryville Treasures, An Artisan Boutique. I can also be found several times a year throughout the Loudoun and Shenandoah Valley areas at antique shows and flea markets.
