Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference. 🧡

I added a little water to my garden, and now I get to enjoy moments like this.

A reminder that you don’t need a big backyard or a perfect garden to make room for nature.

Have you noticed more birds visiting your garden lately? 🐦

Just trying to enjoy a little la dolce vita on my deck before the cold weather arrives. 🍝🌿

The pasta was delicious. The ending? Not quite what I had planned. 😂

Here’s to warm October evenings, eating outside, and finding the humor in everyday life.

Would you have picked up the fork and kept going? 😂

Once you’ve tasted green beans straight from the garden, there’s no going back! 😂🌱

Fresh, crunchy, and so much better than anything store-bought. And the best part? They’re still growing in October!

Have you ever tasted a green bean straight from the vine?

I sit at a desk most of the day, and by the time I get home, sitting down sounds pretty good.

But I’ve learned that if I go outside first—even for 10 minutes—I usually feel better for it.

I check the garden. Water something. Pull a w**d. Walk Maggie. Watch the birds. Sometimes I barely do anything at all.

It doesn’t have to be a workout. It doesn’t have to “count” as exercise.

Sometimes you just need to go outside. 🌿

What’s the first thing you do when you get home?

Try this, especially if you’re growing in a small space! 🪴✅

What if you could grow two crops in one pot?

I’m trying a little experiment this fall!

First, I’m planting garlic from the grocery store, hoping to harvest it next summer.

Then I’m adding spinach seeds for a much earlier harvest.

It’s called interplanting, and it’s a great way to make the most of a small space.

Let’s see what happens!

I planted dahlias dreaming of armfuls of flowers all summer. Instead, October brought the surprise I’d been waiting for. 🌸

On October 2, I walked outside to find 8–10 blooms open at once, with even more buds waiting.

Gardening has a funny way of reminding us that everything happens on its own schedule.

Anyone else still enjoying unexpected blooms this fall?

Apparently, “my fall garden is finished” was a lie. 😂🌱

A box of heirloom seeds showed up, and suddenly I found room for a few more.

That’s one of my favorite things about gardening—you don’t need to grow everything. You don’t need a huge garden. You can start with a packet of seeds, a little soil and whatever space you have.

Just grow something. 💚
