Aptilite

Aptilite Aptilite was a small manufacturer of 3D printed items and LED-based lighting fixtures, located in scenic Biddeford, Maine. Aptilite does two things.

First, it makes 3D printed items. These can be any kind of artistic design, sometimes functional and sometimes decorative. Aptilite is not a 3D printing service and it's unlikely that we'll print something for you unless you're a friend and the printers aren't doing anything else. We also make LED based light fixtures. LEDs are by definition, different than anything that came before it. The light

source is directional, needs its thermal issues managed differently, and requires a different approach to dimming. Rather than attempt to stuff LEDs into fixtures that were designed to solve a completely different set of design constraints, Aptilite starts each design with a clean sheet of paper and doesn't attempt to mimic the past.
