Today marks 40 years since my mom passed away.

I never had the chance to know her, but I grew up seeing her beautiful calligraphy on handwritten pages my dad carefully saved. Her handwriting became my connection to her.

That’s why I picked up a calligraphy pen. What started as a way to feel close to my mom has become my greatest passion and my life’s work.

The feather behind my logo is a tribute to her. To me, feathers are little reminders that her spirit is never far away.

Everything I create is because of her. ❤️

When I first started Light as a Feather Calligraphy, I was creating small commissioned pieces, meaningful artwork made by hand, one piece at a time.

Over the years, that passion grew into wedding calligraphy and eventually into live guest experiences where I create personalized keepsakes in the moment. Along the way, I discovered just how much I love helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful occasions through art.

This refreshed logo and brand aren’t about changing who I am. They’re about finally reflecting everything Light as a Feather Calligraphy has grown to become.
