Kent Ickes Kreations I graduated from college with a fine art degree (minor in education) in 2000 from Montana State University. Landscapes and people are my favorite subjects.

I am always expanding the ways I create but am currently working in acrylic and oil painting.

I moved our bird feeder to the bottom corner of the deck to hopefully attract more birds since it sticks out more. I never imagined we would have a Bullock’s Oriole visit!! I feel like we hit the jackpot with this bird feeder camera! What’s next!?🐧🦅🕊️🪶🪽

Updated our hallway lighting this weekend. We’ve not cared for the heavy, yellow dust collection bowls since we bought our home. These new lights hit the spot! We will change the bulbs out to led edison bulbs in the future. 💡💙

We went to the Renaissance Fair for the first time yesterday and it was really cool. Lots of interesting people and vendors with something always catching my eye. I didn’t dress up but I wish I had. The folks that did seemed to have a lot of fun with it. Will definitely go again.

I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to post that I sold another painting this week! This painting of St. Paul’s cathedral in London has been a part of my life for over 20 years. It sold this week as it was hanging up at from an a couple months ago. I was told the gentleman that bought it loved it and it is hanging in his apartment here in town. I wish I could have met him but I’m so happy it brings him joy as it has me for so many years. Congrats sir and thank you! 🖼️🖌️👨‍🎨💙

If you hear this sound in your neighborhood, you have Blue Jays! These two are squawking at a neighbors cat that they absolutely hate. They’re even diving on it to deter it. That cat did them dirty somehow and now they bark when we it’s near.
