Some friendships are more than shared memories – they are shared purpose.

For over 30 years, my dear friend, and I have walked through lives, highest mountains, and deepest valleys together. We’ve witnessed God’s faithfulness through seasons of joy, heartbreak, waiting, healing, and new beginnings.

Today, we both find our ourselves creating jewelry – but not simply to make something beautiful.

We create because we believe that what we wear can tell a story.

At Connections by Dee, every puzzle piece reminds us that every life is made up of many chapters, and every piece has a purpose.

My sweet friend has created her salvation collection, where each color shares the beautiful message of the Gospel – a reminder of God‘s love, grace, and I hope found in Christ.

One common purpose.

To encourage. To inspire. To remind people, they are loved. To start conversations that matter.
I love that after more than three decades of friendship, God is still writing our stories. And now, in His own way, He’s using our hands to create pieces the point people towards Hope.

Vacation has given me beautiful views…

But even more beautiful have been the people I’ve met.

This week, someone noticed my handmade Connections by Dee earrings and stopped to compliment them. 

That small moment reminded me why I started this journey.

Connections by Dee has  never been only about jewelry.

It’s about the conversations.
The friendships.
The encouragement.
The stories that remind us, we are all carrying different puzzle pieces through Life.

I’ve met people whose stories reflect courage, endurance, strength, hope, and kindness.

What started as a simple compliment became something I treasure even more – a conversation.

It reminded me why I started Connections by Dee.

Six weeks ago, this little kitten was thrown from a moving car.

In two days, he is going home to a family who will love him forever.

His story reminds me why Connections by Dee exists.

We all have chapters that shape us.
We all deserve hope.
And sometimes one act of kindness can completely change a life.

Every Piece Has a Purpose 🧩❤️🐾

Six weeks ago, the little kitten story almost ended before it had a chance to begin.
Someone threw him from a moving car.
My daughter happened to be there, rescued him, and brought him home. Since then, he’s been loved, cared for, treated, and reminded every single day that not every human gives up on you.
In two days, he is leaving for his forever home.
At Connections by Dee, I believe every piece has a purpose – not just in jewelry, but in life.
Every person has a story.
Every rescued animal has a story.
Every scar tells a chapter.
Every second chance writes a new ending.

This tiny kitten reminds us that kindness changes lives. Sometimes all it takes is one person willing to stop, care, and believe that a life is worth saving.

✨ yesterday I had that pleasure of meeting Miss Lake Guntersville. What stayed with me wasn’t just her crown – it was her willingness to say “yes“ to an opportunity she never expected would become part of her journey.

✨ yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Lake Guntersville! 👑
What inspired me most wasn’t just the crown – it was her story.
She shared that she entered the pageant simply because someone introduced her to the opportunity. She wasn’t chasing a career or expecting where it might lead. She simply said yes to try something new.
That reminded me why I created Connections by Dee.
Life has a way of placing unexpected opportunities, people, and experiences into our path. We don’t always know where they’ll lead, but each one becomes another piece of our story.
