About Us: Our Story
Music/Theatre director and InterACT Entertainment owner, Debbie Tedrick started ‘Second ACT Soaps-n-Such’ while being grounded in Michigan’s quarantine during Covid-19. Getting back to a former love of soaping, and with jobs gone and all theatre shows closed, Debbie channeled her artistic energies and fell in love all over again with designing unique, fun, and practical soaps,
candles, and beauty products for gifts, personal use, and retail sales. Debbie truly believes that ‘when one door closes, another opens’ and she is grateful to share her Second ACT Soaps with you! Our motto ‘life is short, lather up’ is a positive way to remind ourselves to live in the moment, and do what we can in any circumstance in which we find ourselves. We stand behind any product we make, and we will always do what we can to exceed expectations. We want more than just your business, we want your loyalty, and your ongoing respect for our products and our business practices. We know it takes time and effective collaboration to reach our potential and we truly hope you’ll take this journey with us. We know we’re just starting out, it’s an exciting and yet vulnerable time for us, so please know that we need you now more than ever to help us get going...and keep going! Your purchases and invaluable feedback on what you love AND what you’d like to see improved will be the reason we succeed...because of YOUR involvement. We promise to offer our best selves at every turn, and we will be uncompromisingly committed to quality of product as well as personal connection, so you feel refreshed on the outside AND the inside after working with us. We’re trying something new too. And if ‘Life is like a box of chocolates...’ (sorry, movie quote addict here) then let’s take this bite together and see what we get. It might be truly delicious. (The experience will be delicious, but don’t eat the soap!)
If Covid-19 teaches us anything it’s to remember that:
Life is short, lather up! Let’s do this thing...together. It might be wonderful. SOAP you soon...
