Last Thursday, Terracotta House closed out the season with the Spring Studio Social, an open studio evening centered around art, conversation, and community before the studio pauses for summer travel, fieldwork, and preparations for the upcoming season.
Throughout the evening, guests moved through the space at their own pace as new and familiar faces gathered among works installed throughout the studio, creating a warm and quietly celebratory atmosphere to mark the end of the season. The evening offered a glimpse into the continued evolution of Terracotta House as an artist-led galerie space shaped slowly over time through exhibitions, gatherings, and creative exchange.
On view throughout the night was The Garden Party Collection, a new series of floral still life works by Valerie Noell, exploring whimsy, nostalgia, and seasonal transition. The collection will be released soon as part of the relaunch of the Terracotta House online print and fine art marketplace.
Guests were welcomed with an aperitivo spread curated by in-house food artist alongside an Aperol spritz bar, adding to the relaxed, gallery-style rhythm of the evening.
As Terracotta House continues to grow organically, the Spring Studio Social served as both a closing chapter to the season and a quiet look ahead at what is still unfolding.
Thank you to everyone who came out — see you this fall in the studio.
xx Valerie
