Many people don’t know that I started macrame for my mental health….When Covid hit our hospital I had a very hard time because my mama was living with me and I feared getting her sick…when I could finally breathe I stopped…I’m not sure why, but I felt like I needed to concentrate all my brain power on my hospital work…and now here we are, two years later and I hit literal rock bottom a few weeks ago…I’ve let my mental health take a backseat to all the other things again…

This is my first large piece since….it may not be perfect but it’s exactly what I needed to remember that I matter as much as the next person…

Hello there…it’s been awhile..life got a little crazy for me…between working Covid units to finishing my doctorate to moving my dad to Texas to buying a new home, there hasn’t been much time for me to be crafty…but things have settled and I’ve found my routine…so with a little bit of faith the shop will be re-opening soon!

Due to the uptick in Covid cases, owner Kat has been spending more and more time at the hospital working with patients and helping as needed.

For the time being this is where her energy is needed. When the time is right the shop will open with new goodies ❤️
