I am very much a functional carpenter. My stuff isn’t always pretty but it works. I love to dance while I work and I make a lot of mistakes along the way. I also crave community of people who love to do what I do. So whether you are a never-ever and want to learn the basics, someone who wants to learn to build beyond the basics like me, or are a skilled carpenter learning to hone your craft the Womxn of Woodworking Workshop Weekend may be for you!! Our first annual event will be August 5-6th in Boise, Idaho. We want to bring in women, trans women and non-binary folk from across the country to come together to learn in an open environment of other life minded womxn who want to learn and be part of a community.
