Created in memory of my Uncle Ray and having it honored like this means more than words. Thank you to those who walk alongside my art and help it be seen.

Hey y’all! It’s that time of year… my entry for the 2025 Tie Dye Cup - presented by Grateful Dyes, Inc.- Colorado Wholesale Dye Corp., Home of Grateful Dyes.

I made this back in August on the same day I learned that my Uncle Ray had passed. The colors layered themselves into something that felt like light rising. Like a soul remembering its way home.
I named it “Ray’s Ascension Portal.”

I never rush the making of these. Each one holds its own rhythm and pulse. This one is full of vibrant heart energy and reminds me of the beauty in self-expression and bold softness. It’s made for dancing in the kitchen, gathering in ceremony, or simply feeling radiant in your own presence.

Already claimed, and still calling to be witnessed.

This kimono robe holds the energy of blooming from within. The mandala on the back reminding me of the power of stillness, pattern, and patience.

There’s something incredibly special about watching a piece align with its person. I’m always in awe of how that connection finds its way. Like they already knew each other before they met.

This one has already found her person and I had to share her with you anyway.

Every once in a while, a piece comes through that feels like a whole story being told in color, shape, and movement. This kimono robe unfolded like that. Layered. Grounded. Fiery. Soft. It feels like elemental energy… earth, smoke, ember, sky.

This piece isn’t just art to wear… it’s medicine.

I’m so honored she’ll be wrapping around someone who felt her resonance right away. That’s what it’s always about for me. Creating things that feel like a return.
