She came through softer than expected.
I thought I was being heavy handed with the dye... and instead she opened into this watercolor dream. Pastel and a bit muted, yet still so alive.

My tapestry was voted Best in Show, and I’m beyond grateful to everyone who showed up, voted, and shared love for this piece.

Created in memory of my Uncle Ray and having it honored like this means more than words. Thank you to those who walk alongside my art and help it be seen.

Huge respect to all the other artists and winners. The creativity in this space is next level.

Hey y’all! It’s that time of year… my entry for the 2025 Tie Dye Cup - presented by Grateful Dyes, Inc.- Colorado Wholesale Dye Corp., Home of Grateful Dyes.

I made this back in August on the same day I learned that my Uncle Ray had passed. The colors layered themselves into something that felt like light rising. Like a soul remembering its way home.
I named it “Ray’s Ascension Portal.”
