This week humbled me in ways I wasn’t prepared for. Moving halfway across the country sounded exciting on paper, but the reality has been messy, emotional, exhausting, and surprisingly beautiful too.

There have been tears, hard conversations, unmet expectations, and moments where I questioned everything. But through it all, my husband never stopped holding my hand. 🤍

Slowly, but surely making our way to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It has been a long week with many delays, some serious stress, and some deep thinking on why Dorothy was so keen on getting back to Kansas and all of these fields. We will be crossing into Oklahoma soon, then onto our new home. Can’t wait!

Mississippi here we come!

Moving trip no.1 involved moving an entire automotive shop + my ‘57 panel truck and 2 engines into a 26’ truck and then to a 30’ storage unit.

Moving trip no.2 is all about the house and the upholstery shop! We are an electric combination if tired, stressed, & excited.

We’re headed to the Laurel/Hattiesburg area - if you have a vintage car or a beautiful piece of furniture that needs a refresh then we’ll see you soon!
