Born in northern New Jersey in 1971, surrounded by art thanks to an artist mother, Christine went on to study Fine Art at the University of Delaware, Maryland Institute College of Art, and New College of Southwest Florida between the years of 1989-1993. She joined the Art festival circuit in 2017 but has been a successful professional artist her entire adult life. Running her own fine art, mural,

and wall finish company, Christine Adele Moore Murals, Inc., she employed up to six artists at once to cope with the volume of commissioned work received. Christine specialized in large custom murals for luxury homes, stemming from an 32โ€™x14โ€™ mural sheโ€™d done during her latter college years. Since then, Christine has been commissioned by many prominent members of our community throughout the United States, including several public figures. One of the highlights was a Renaissance style ceiling mural for the Great Room of a private home of a well know corporate empire tycoon, sized 44โ€™ x 35โ€™. Christine still paints by commission, on both large and small scale, and loves every project. โ€œThey (the commissions) make me grow continuously,โ€ states the artist. She explains that each assignment comes with the unique desires of the particular client and constantly pushes her out of her comfort zone, thereby increasing her range as an artist and offers explanation for her wide range of talents and style abilities.

โ€œMaking art has been my passion since childhood. I love every minute of every day because I do what I love and love what I doโ€ฆand raised two beautiful sons while doing it.โ€

Lyrically Out of the Box

60โ€ x 48โ€ | Hangs horizontally or vertically

What would my booth be without at least one octopus?

While the subject matter may seem worlds away from my new Hands of Fate series, I was surprised to discover how naturally this painting belongs alongside those works.

With its smoky, weathered palette and more seasoned coloration, it carries a different energy than many of my earlier octopus paintings. There is a sense of mystery here that feels connected to the themes Iโ€™ve been exploring latelyโ€”connection, transformation, and the unseen currents that shape our lives.

Perhaps that shouldnโ€™t be surprising. Octopuses have always represented curiosity, intelligence, adaptability, and exploration in my work.

Sometimes a new path doesnโ€™t require leaving the old one behind. Sometimes it simply reveals a deeper layer of what was already there.

And besidesโ€ฆ every booth needs an octopus.
