I decided to build a 54inch diameter round dining table for the banquet i built. I was able to source some 6/ 4 and 8/4 White Oak rough sewn wood which i had to plane down to finish depth. The base i built up by building out extensive glue ups to give it some formidable size and girth.

Well I fabricated a 2inch thick White Oak wood coffee/cocktail table. It is 36inches in diameter.
