A living room designed for the way this family truly lives.

For the Auburn Project, the goal was to transform a once tired and dated space into one that feels warm, elevated, and ready for everyday life. Architectural details like wood beams on the vaulted ceiling and an iron wheel chandelier bring structure and presence, while custom window treatments, including remote control Roman shades, add both function and ease.

Layered materials create comfort without sacrificing sophistication. Leather and velvet upholstery offer a balance of texture and durability, designed to stand up to family life while still feeling refined.

A space that feels effortless, but is built on thoughtful decisions that allow it to function beautifully day to day.

If you want your home to feel intentional, effortless, and truly reflective of how you live, it takes more than good taste.

It takes time, clarity, and hundreds of thoughtful decisions working together. For many of our clients, the challenge is not a lack of vision. It is the reality of already making important decisions all day.
That is where we come in.

We take on the planning, guide every detail, and carry the process forward so you do not have to. The result is a home that feels considered, personal, and complete, without the weight of getting there.

We're crushing on a few standout pieces from The 2026 High Point Spring Market, the world's largest home furnishings trade show in High Point, NC.

As featured in , these pieces captured our attention for their focus on texture, craftsmanship, and surface detail. From the warm glow of the Sadie Wall Sconce by for , to the hand-pressed Porcelain Textile Bowl by , each piece brings a sense of depth and artistry.

The Marl Slipper Chair by .home x .housedesigns, wrapped in shaggy wool with a reclaimed wood base, and the Velora Credenza by , with its softly curved oak form and wire-brushed finish, continue that conversation, proving that thoughtful materials can carry a design.

These pieces remind us that when materials are chosen well, they do the talking. What do they say to you?

In every home we design, storage and technology are considered from the very beginning. Function first, but make it effortlessly beautiful.

Our vision for this window nook was to honor its architectural beauty without compromise. We ensured the hidden audio components in the discreet, ventilated compartment remained entirely invisible. The result is a seamless combination of technological performance and undisturbed aesthetics.

If you’re ready for a home that works as beautifully as it looks, connect with our team to start the conversation.

Highly capable, accomplished clients come to us not because they cannot make decisions, but because they make them all day.

Designing a home requires hundreds of thoughtful choices, from materials and layouts to the smallest finishing details. While each one matters, managing them all can quickly become overwhelming, even for those with a clear vision.

At Glass House Design Group, we step in to guide that process. We take your ideas, your lifestyle, and your priorities, and translate them into a cohesive, well-executed home that feels effortless to live in.

Because your home should feel like a place to restore, not another responsibility to manage.

A small moment of beauty, care, and intention. 💐

This weekend, we’re thinking of the women who nurture, create, and bring a sense of warmth into the spaces around them. The ones who notice the details, hold everything together, and make a house feel like home.

This is for you.

It’s easy to think a home needs more space to feel better.
In reality, it needs more intention.

The way a home flows, how it functions, and how it makes you feel day to day comes down to thoughtful design, not square footage.

At Glass House Design Group, we focus on creating spaces that feel layered, personal, and effortlessly livable, without adding more than what is needed.

As GHDG Designer, Lisa Gravallese, says...sometimes the best design decision is knowing when to do less.

In this space, we chose to forgo window treatments to allow the millwork and tile to take center stage. Natural light, thoughtful restraint, and strong architectural details create a result that feels intentional and quietly elevated.

From concept to completion.
The Mill Pond Project was designed as a serene suburban retreat for a bustling family of five. What began as a vision through inspirational mood boards, precise floor plans and technical 4D photorealistic renderings evolved into a light-filled living space where soaring wood beam ceilings and a sun-drenched addition now anchor the heart of the home.

The design balances old and new with ease. Antique pieces, including the client’s grandmother’s drop-leaf table, live alongside carefully sourced vintage finds and refined contemporary details. A palette of dusty blues, sage greens, mustard, and ivory reflects the surrounding pondside landscape while creating a warm, welcoming environment for everyday family life.

The result is a home that feels effortlessly chic, personal, and elegant.
