A little crevice between his body and tail holds bamboo-stick incense, making it look like he’s curling his body/tail around it! He’ll be mounted on a stone base to give him a bit more stability. I briefly considered making him fit coreless (japanese style) incense, but you definitely don’t want the burning part to get too close to the body (which is sculpted out of epoxy clay).

When you’re a little frog chilling on a drippy tree trunk, every hour is happy hour. “Thirsty Frog,” my first piece of functional bottle-opener wall art, is now available at ! This mixed-media piece is sculpted from epoxy clay on a wooden plaque around a stainless steel bottle opener and handpainted with gouache, then finished with UV-protective varnish. It’s fitted with hangers on the back and ready to adorn your kitchen (or recreational zone of choice)!
