As I cutout images to get warmed up for some collage work, I turned pages and saw not 1, not 2, but 3 images of women’s neck cut out with a big hole. It’s a sign, women’s voice is getting dimmed. It is also inspiration for MLDNY to create new pieces stand for ‘Women’s Voice’. The voice chakra is on the neck. Art generated there is a powerful spiritual energy that wins, a ‘soundless voice’ even the strongest force cannot overcome.
