The kitchen is the heart of the home. I was fortunate enough to have the privilege of designing our kitchen 4 years ago. As my contractor says “it’s the gift that keeps on giving”. Not a day has gone by since we completed this project where I haven’t felt an immense sense of gratitude and joy when entering this space. So many meals and good conversations were shared with family, friends and neighbors. But I’m happy to pass the baton and welcome a new family to create their own memories in this home. Our house listed today! I’m excited to see who the lucky family that will take over from here will be. Welcome home ❤️

Tomorrow will mark the end of the longest chapter of my life. Our house in Medfield will officially go on the market. I’m excited for a new adventure to unfold and I’m grateful for 20 wonderful years spent in this lovely home. I’ll post some photos over the next few days to share some of my personal design. I will miss our bathroom tremendously. The spaciousness and serenity has made getting up in the morning a pleasant ritual. The radiant heat in the floors has especially made those cold winter mornings more bearable 😉

Perfection is hard to achieve in design. The balance between too much or not enough is often blurred. I usually stick to the saying of “less is more” which makes it more challenging as each piece in the room plays a very important part. “Nobody can hide”. The Chandelier in this South End dining room takes center stage but all the other pieces are equally important in creating that perfect harmony. This is what creates a calm and peaceful ambiance. Bring the outside in to make your home reflect the outdoors. With an abundance of blooming flowers this time of the year I love to enjoy the beauty of them inside as well. Stripes can work anywhere..even as a tub surround. This kids bath got an instant fun vibe with the penny tile stripe design. We opted for a herringbone on the floor and white sconces above the gray vanity to tie in the gray and white of the tub walls. These cute little munchkins can definitely grow into this bathroom.
