If you have made it to this page, you likely enjoy crochet as much as I do. With hook in hand, you find yourself getting completely lost in lovely textured yarns, vibrant colors and the fast, soothing rhythm that comes from looping knot after knot...

And when you are not crocheting, do you find yourself dreaming about crocheting?? And dreaming about what to crochet and how to crochet it?? It is only in recent years though, since the birth of my son, that I have finally begun to get my patterns written down and available to others. I hope you like my crochet designs. I believe they have a unique look and feel that reflects the wonderful diversity of the many places in which I have lived and traveled to. I get my inspiration from what I see around me every day – in the shops, on the streets, on the subway, and in the playground (to name a few). I designed this one on my first-ever trip to Prince Edward Island. Seeing it come back to me like this is a whole feeling. 🧡

made my Pretty Perfect P.E.I. Poncho and look at that drape — the way the ribbed bands catch the light against the open rows is exactly what I was hoping for when I sketched it out.

Two rectangles, seamed with room for the neck. That’s the whole construction.

Pretty stitches are not the same thing as hard stitches. 💙

The Blue-Easy Wrap Shawl looks like it took skill you don't have yet. It didn't. Three row types, worked over and over — and one of them is the only stitch you might not know already, explained with more photos than anything else in the pattern.

Solid ribbed lines against open lacework. That contrast does all the work.

The Easy-Breezy Ruana is my easiest design, hands down: one stitch, one continuous piece, and no seams to sew. If you can double crochet, you can make this.

The secret is two strands held together. 🧡

That's what makes the Boho Bag Beauty hold its shape instead of collapsing into a sad crochet pancake. Cotton, doubled, worked firm.

Just another crocheted scarf? Maybe… but look a little closer. 💗

Those gorgeous ridges are simple half double crochet worked in back loops only. The little popcorn-like bumps between them? Just single crochet and double crochet alternating. That's it. That's the whole scarf.

Two stitch types you already know, arranged in a four-row repeat — and it looks like it took way more skill than it did. My favourite kind of pattern. ✨
