Kate Latham Creative Studios Art Camps for the Bowling Green community and Custom made handwoven tapestries. Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Local pickup available.

All products made in Pet-Free, Smoke-Free studio. Custom woven tapestries, and DIY Weaving Kits. Tapestries vary in size, with the prices ranging from $5+. Small DIY Kits are $8, and Large Kits are $20.

On Friday, July 31st you can join us from 9 to 11am at the Phil Moore Park Gym Meeting Room to create two organic shape themed projects. We will create a Calder inspired paper sculpture and a organic shape watercolor painting. This camp is open to ages 5-13. The cost is $25 per artist. All needed supplies are provided.

On Thursday, July 30th you can join us from 9 to 11am at the Phil Moore Park Gym Meeting Room to create two geometric shape themed projects. We will create a cardboard colorful shape sculpture and a Mary Blair inspired Castle collage. This camp is open to ages 5-13. The cost is $25 per artist. All needed supplies are provided.

I have 3 adult sized aprons available for sale. These 100% cotton aprons are 19.75"x27.5". I recommend this size for preteens through adults.

These aprons are $15 each. Payment is accepted through Venmo, PayPal, or a link to pay can be sent from my website. These will be ready for pickup starting Saturday, June 6. Shipping is currently not available for these aprons.

Tie dye aprons can be washed like normal with other clothing items after the initial wash, which has been completed.

I have 7 child sized aprons available for sale. These 100% cotton aprons are 19"x12.5". I recommend this size for up to around age 8 - it could fit older children on the petite size. It fits my 4.5 year old with room to spare currently.

Hey Friends! I have had a good number of new followers recently so I wanted to take a minute to re-introduce myself!

My name is Kate and I am the owner and operator of Kate Latham Creative Studios/Art Camps by Kate. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Art Education and Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University in 2017. I was a 4th grade math and writing teacher at Rockfield Elementary for a year before I transitioned into the position of Art Teacher for Rich Pond and Rockfield Elementary Schools for two years. At the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, I resigned to stay home with my newborn son.

In December 2021 I hosted my first "art camp" at my home as a trial run. My first art camp open to the public was hosted in April 2022. Currently I offer art camps for the Bowling Green community during summer, fall, winter, and spring school breaks. I also host paint parties, and make custom handwoven tapestries. I am so thankful for the opportunity to stay home with my boys while still having the opportunity to teach art on the side to share my love of art with the community. 🎨💜🎨

On Thursday, July 23rd you can join us from 9 to 11am at the Buchanon Park Tennis Facility Meeting Room to create two Monet inspired projects. (This camp was rescheduled from the originally advertised date of June 11). We will create a footbridge painting and a water lily collage. This camp is open to ages 5-13. The cost is $25 per artist. All needed supplies are provided. Scissor skills are relied on heavily for this camp.
