This year, Nurses Week hits a little deeper for me.

I lost my very young sister-in-love, who was an absolute badass nurse. At her funeral, I watched her family of nurses honor her life and her calling in such a powerful way.

It reminded me—what would we do without nurses?

They carry so much. They show up in the hardest, most sacred moments. They are such a God-given gift.

If you know a nurse, thank them. Honor them. Especially this week.
