Things are looking absolutely beautiful here at Rustic Blossom Acres! 😍

Our veggie garden is coming along so well, filled with rhubarb, strawberries, figs, red currant, apple trees, sunflowers, cherry tomatoes, plenty of elderberry, and a pepper plant or two! 🍎🍓🌻 We also have a dedicated garden bed full of wildflowers that our rabbits and pollinators love! We have plenty of blooms popping up, so now we are just playing the waiting game for all that delicious fruit.

​We haven’t had the best luck with our blueberries or peppers in the past, but we are keeping our fingers crossed to see if we can get some sort of harvest this year, especially since we are trying gooseberry and a few other fruits for the first time! 🤞✨

Robin is officially our new "Big Momma" here at the homestead! 🐇

We had a busy day sexing and separating her 5 little ones, and it turns out we have 1 female and 4 males in the mix.

hey are all doing great, and we are so happy to have such a successful litter thriving at Rustic Blossom Acres.

Life at Rustic Blossom Acres is bustling! 🌿

​We’ve dedicated a beautiful garden bed full of wildflowers💐 for our rabbits and local pollinators—it's been so rewarding to see them thrive, along with the ingredients for our own tinctures and herbal remedies. Our fig and rhubarb plants are looking great, and we are eagerly waiting to see if we get a harvest from our peppers this year! Oh, and of course, there is a random sunflower🌻 stalk popping up in our garden, just because.

Update from the Five-Star "Trash" Nursery! 🐣☀️

​Our tiny tenants are still going strong! These three House Wrens are currently mastering the art of "waiting for momma" while trying to stay cool in the Oklahoma heat.

​They’re growing fast—we expect them to check out of their cardboard suite and take flight in about 10 days. We’re so glad our “junk” could provide such a perfect home! 🐦✨

Post-rain magic at Rustic Blossom Acres! 🌧️✨

​There is something so refreshing about the garden after a good soaking. The colors seem to pop just a little bit more, and everything just feels renewed. We are especially excited to see these gorgeous red lilies finally blooming—it's the first time they've made it through without being turned into a deer snack! 🦌🚫

​It’s the perfect day to slow down and enjoy the view.

Milestone Achieved! 🌲

​We’ve officially crossed the finish line for Day 4! The team at Rustic Blossom Acres is thrilled to announce that we are finally done with all the cutting and limbing. We’ve successfully cleared the area, and it’s now prepped and ready for mulching. Plus, we’ve got a great stash of trunks ready to be transformed into our next projects!

Mission: Trash Day… FAILED. 🐣

​We were just trying to do some spring cleaning and finally throw out this old box that’s been sitting around. But, as we went to toss it, we got a tiny, chirping surprise!

​Turns out, a very clever Mama Wren🐦 decided our "trash" was actually the perfect spot to raise a family. Needless to say, the box is staying exactly where it is. We officially have babies in the nest🪺!

​Who knew our junk was actually a five-star🌟 nursery?

🐰 We know we’re a little late to the game, but Robin gave us our first fluffle of the year! We can’t believe these 5 bumbling bunnies are already 3 weeks old. Watching them hop, tumble, and explore has been the sweetest start to spring here at Rustic Blossom Acres! 🌿🤍
