Sleeving and pricing some fresh inventory for Totally Rad Vintage Fest Salt Lake after the successful Bozeman show cleared some space. All are original theater used posters, no reproductions. We will be going all in on this show with the most posters we've ever brought to a show! Not to mention thousands of records, comic books, and other retro goods coming along. Hundreds of items we have never offered before!

Show runs Saturday only at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy. We'll be located directly in front of the main entrance next to the merch both, you can't miss us. Hope to see you there!

We've been busy this winter in preparation for show season! After years of bringing the best antique advertising we have to offer, we're changing it up a bit. Our van is loaded with well over 100 original, theater used posters ranging in price from $30-95. These are perfect for those that want a big title movie without the big price tag. That said, we're still here for the serious collectors as well. There's over 50 posters ranging in price from $100-1,000 coming with us as well. All of which are in brand new sleeves/boards, retro theme focused, and most have never been with us in store or to a show.

In addition to posters, we are returning with our large selection of records and comics. Over 3,000 records and 4,000+ comic books with more added daily. Our first show of the season is Acorns Antique & Vintage Show in Ogden this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hope to see you there!

1920's Prohibition Era Anheuser-Busch Budweiser SST Sign

Embossed sign made by Stout Sign Company. "New brew" is in reference to the company's near beer at the time, an alcohol free product the company would have sold during the ban on alcohol. These signs scarce without the "new brew" wording, even more so with it. Measures approx 19"x39".

Now offering Mondo limited edition screen prints!

Mondo is a company that has been around for nearly 20 years, originally formed by Alamo Draft House. They commission top artists to recreate vintage advertising with a goal to match or exceed the graphics of its original counterpart. These pieces are then screen printed with quality materials to create highly detailed prints that are unrivaled in quality by anything computer printed. These are not cheap prints you buy off a rack at the mall, they are officially licensed products with true collectors and fans in mind. Many are San Diego Comic Con exclusives and those that were sold on their website typically sold out in 3 minutes after launching.

In recent years, Mondo was acquired by Funko Pop and releases prints via timed editions, meaning they will print how ever many are sold within a set amount of time. This has significantly hurt the market for current day Mondos, but the posters made before the acquisition are sold out, made in much smaller quantities, will not be printed again, and tend to appriciate.

It's been a while, but we haven't gone anywhere! The truth is, despite my efforts, very few sales have ever been generated from social media. Most come from shows, in store, and Facebook Groups/Marketplace. It's tough to know where to put all your focus in this business, but I've neglected socials for far to long. So here's an update for you all. First off, Anderson's has been putting a lot energy into comic books and classic rock vinyl as it's what has been selling the most. We currently have over 3,000 comic books and 2,000 records in store. By the end of the year, we expect to have well into 5 figures of vinyl alone.

After 20+ years in this business, we feel it's time to pair down our wide selection of inventory and focus on what sells best for us and the things we are most passionate about. That means we will be having some major liquidation sales in the coming year as we get ready to let go of roughly 500k items. Vintage advertising such as posters, signs, store displays, toys, and tins are here to stay. We will continue to ramp up the quality such as this incredible 1930's store display. Oil/gas items are also here to stay, as will much of the fine art. Anything museum grade with a wow factor outside of advertising we'll continue to growing on aswell. Most other things must go! All of our cowboy western and Native American artifacts are currently at auction set for November, I'll post an update on that soon as well as any other estate sales and auctions.

This isn't the end for us, just an overhaul and refinement that allows us to free up space, money, and time for other projects. We have other interests we would like to give attention to, but we have far to much admiration of history to let go of curation altogether. Expect to see us at more shows, especially out of state, so stick around for more updates!

Four Bears by Utah Artist Richard Prazen

Rather than a traditional bronze casting, this incredible work was entirely built by hand! The horns, feathers, and torso are formed metal, the base and face are built up mig welding that is then die grinded down, and the hair is constructed of individual strands of mig wire. Truly a remarkable example of Prazen's creativity and patience that brings a piece to life.
