Do you have a treadle machine? Do you use it? I have two, one needs a belt.

I talked to my Amish friend Polly today who makes our goat milks soaps for us! I want to get a head start on fall and Christmas scents!

Can you imagine this?

She has ten children. She makes the clothes for all of them plus herself and husband on a foot powered treadle sewing machine.

It’s been so hot here… the kids get so dirty playing outside all day..

And she is canning food for the family for the winter..

How do Amish women do it?
