Most people have no idea what goes into a single bar of soap when it’s made with REAL ingredients🌿— NO cheap factory made bases.🚫

Long before grocery store shelves were filled with brightly colored bottles and ingredient lists we can’t pronounce (or take the time to read), families made soap from scratch using simple ingredients and a LOT of hard work.🥵

Truthfully, not much has changed.

At Charley Jean Candle Co., we still make our soap the traditional way—just with a few more precise measurements than they had hundreds of years ago. 😅

Every batch starts with shea butter, mango butter, and cocoa butter, coconut oil, olive oil, canola oil, castor oil, vitamin E, water, and our own natural scent blends. We carefully weigh every ingredient, mix each batch from scratch, pour it into molds, cut every bar by hand, and then patiently wait while it cures for SIX weeks.

Six weeks.😱

In a world where everything is expected overnight, six weeks feels like forever.

But that slow process is exactly what creates the rich lather, long-lasting bars, and gentle cleanse our customers have come to love.

What you’re watching in this video isn’t a giant factory or an automated production line. It’s a tiny team in a warehouse behind our home in Oklahoma making soap the same way it has been made for generations.

Every bar that leaves our warehouse has been mixed, poured, cut, cured, labeled, packed, and shipped by real people who genuinely care about what ingredients end up in your home.
